Kerry Kelton, GM, Andrew Dallmeyer, VP of Finance & Accounting, and Dianne Sechelski, VP of Data & Business Services presented the check from Mid-South Synergy. Also joining in the presentation was Joseph Slagle representing CoBank.

“I would like to thank Mid-South Synergy and CoBank for their dedication to 21st century teaching and learning opportunities for teachers and students,” said Sara Goolsby, Superintendent of ASCISD. “This grant acknowledges the hard work and dedication of ASCISD’s outstanding teachers and supports our vision of cultivating an innovative and creative learning environment for our students.”

In partnership with CoBank’s “Sharing Success” program, the Empowering Knowledge idea was born in an effort to bring knowledge of renewable energy, electricity, and conservation to the students. “Helping local teachers fund innovative projects and energize learning is one more way we hope to increase the quality of life in our local community”, says Mid-South GM, Kerry Kelton. Mid-South Synergy and CoBank are proud to donate a combined total of $10,000 to Anderson-Shiro CISD and look forward to reaching out to other local schools in the surrounding areas.
